I've gone 145 mph in my NSX, with a CHP waving me on to pick up the pace. I'm not kidding. I would have gone faster, but traffic was kinda heavy (rush hour).

burpin went 136 on his motorcycle racing a police officer. burpin won!



No joke, the cop wasnt chasing burpin, we had gotten to know each other when burpin was working nights at a gas station. He kept saying his patrol car was faster than Burpins bike. Burpin proved him wrong. Burpin could have gone faster but it started to shimmy too much at that speed.

147 MPH on a fz750 on a back country road on the way to my girlfriends house (1992). not such a good idea now that i look back on it. I remember passing a couple cars at that speed..

In the early eighties, My boss then at the time had a hopped  up 240Z. There were a total of 4 of us in the car. Yes, you heard that right. 4 of  us. He wanted downforce weight for when he took it up to top speed.
On a late Sunday night on Hwy. 101. We hit a top speed of 160 mph. We travelled maybe 35  miles and did it in less than 15 minutes.
  We we're pulled over and he went to jail. The rest of us took an expensive Taxi cab ride back home.

 the fastest i have ever driven is 181 mph in a 2003 dodge viper srt-10 and the sccond fastest was in my stock 1969 amc amx at 154 mph. :worship: :driving:
