StrOkEr (1972)

My 72 Challenger started life as a little ol 318 and has been completely upgraded to a Ray Barton 500 CID Stroker motor! Started with a bare block and all new parts were given to her.. The car has been given a very nice resto taking 3 1/2 years giving credit to all the members on cc.com who helped along the process! The 500 StROkEr has a .627 solid roller cam with Hensley ported stage 3 Edelbrock heads! Pete Jackson NOISY gear drive to be obnoxious on the street as well as a MSD ignition and a Be Cool System keeps the 650+ HP Chally cool on the streets… The rear is an 8 3/4 3.91 posi with centerline wheels and MT ET Streets. Transmission is a 727 with 3200 stall and a Cheetah Manual valve body. Full autometer gauges with custom upholstered interior and painted Curious Yellow to glow in the dark on the streets at night! I love this car and it has taught me a ton of patience! I can’t believe it’s done! I dolled it up as a 71 Challenger since that was the year I was born… As Frank Sinatra said, “I did it my way”
