It's kinda weird.  It's like a complete car but there's so much overall rust on everything and a lotta of bondo that could be hiding a lot of mysterious issues.  As alluded to, it needs a lot of body work.

For a really cheap price and if you have some parts stashed and are attempting to do the body work your self, it might be a fun project but trying to put a price tag for someone to do the body work is going to be mucho dinero...

Well, it has those majical numbers that I like.  M 46.
Unfortunately, that option does not demand really any extra money except for to numbers freaks like me.

Aside from that, lots of work.  Looks like it needs a full floor and a full trunk.
Probably needs both rear inners as well as both quarters.

He's asking way way too much.  6K.
He has been offered 5K twice but both guys backed out.

It's probably more of a yard art item.
Looks like it needs pretty much all the metal work.  Of course.

What we need to see is one of these M46 cars beautifully restored back to 100% stock original....I don't believe I've ever seen one in that condition. :dunno:

I'm sure he still has some pictures up.

Look through his 30,000 posts.  Plumb crazy even.  Isn't that your favorite color Alan?

So what you have here is a 318 column shift car which someone has added their special take on a 4 speed hump and pedals and thrown in the Rallye guages to boot. The upside here is that you have the 26" radiator cause the car had A/C but the downside is that you will have a metal bill of something like 7-8K to make it right.

Quarters are gone, floor is gone, trunk is gone, trunk lid is gone, hood might not be savable, etc.....

The crazy part here is that you really don't know the full extent of the damage until you put it through a good media blast.

Yeah, I agree.  There is a healthy metal bill there.

And the car is just a bh coded 318 car.
Nothing special by any means.

Not worth a rebuild as the car won't sell for as much as the restoration cost would be.
Oh well.  Another junked M46. Really too bad.

Talk the guy down to about 1500 bucks and you have something if you really like the M46 code.

Otherwise it's just another BH destined to hit the scraps cause the owner thinks it's worth more than it is.

That looks like Gordaon's old M46 Barracuda. It has even got some Red parts in it too
It would depend on how much you wanted a Yellow M46 really Josh, if it is your favourite combo it could be a keeper and worth the restoration cost buddy.

When I said in an earlier post that it wasn't worth it because it was a 318 car, I didn't realize it was a M46 car.

It would be great to see a rare car like that restored original :2cents:

It all comes down to what the individual wants in a car, it still cost them same to do a Hemicuda compared to a M46 Barracuda, the difference in cost is the Hemi engine parts in all reality, and if it had a Saker hood of course, any specific Hemi parts cost more, but the body is still a Barracuda in both cases. :grinyes: I think that M46's will get rarer and rarer as time goes on and have more of a following once more people realize how rare a car these cars are. Also like you pointed out Alan, this is a 318 M46, it is more common in an M46 than others, Josh has a big block M46 already, so he would have to decide if he wanted this in his stable or not. It all comes down to dollars and sense. :2thumbs:
