The stripe is optional. On the Mopar '14 edition the stripe is blue and is one of three different stripe choices offered.

IMO they should have made it functional? Same with the T/A style hood. Mopar always had the coolest FUNTIONAL hoods, thinking airgrabber, T/A , real Shaker, superbee hoods , etc...
The Scat Pack thing was a bit of a let down too? Enough of the "K-Mart options" lets see some HP, rear end ratio options, superchargers, suspension upgrades, brake upgrades etc.... :2cents:
I'd love to see a T/A version like they did with the new Viper!

Looks like the blue air filter is the intake? :dunno:

Anybody seeing any pricing yet? I am told it will be January before it is out for the older challenger (2009).

The Shaker is not an option it is a package that costs $2500. Besides the shaker it includes but includes the Super Track Pak (new steering rack, brake linings, upgraded shocks and 20-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car tires). The stripes are an additional $500 as I mentioned in another post.

Loving the shaker on the new challengers....problem is it's on a new challenger. I don't have a problem with the new challenger in general. I hate all the new cars their putting crap on that I don't need lol. TPMS, traction control, etc
Cuda is gone :(

Challenger R/T Shaker
Shaker is functional but no increase in performance.
R/T come equipped with Super Track Pak, adds Hi-Perf steering rack,
rear decklid spoiler, roof & trunk stripes, body color grille,
Eagle F1 Supercar tyres. Improved shocks, brake pads.
The ability to turn Traction and Stability Control completely off.
$37500 if you want the stripes.  I wonder if the dealers are going to screw you like the first 08 Challengers adding $10 thou.

Does anyone know if these hoods are for sale yet?  I just bought a 2014 challenger and asked for it but the dealership couldn't find a part number.  They said it might not be out yet... pending... I was just going to buy one from Petty's garage but if its out now, I'll reconsider.   :clueless:
