Collector Car Appreciation Day
« on: July 12, 2013 - 02:47:57 pm »
With U.S. Senate Resolution 176, passed June 19, proclaiming the fourth annual Collector Car Appreciation Day, a number of classic car events will take place to celebrate our own little holiday next week, including a special Hemmings Motor News cruise-in.
In 2010, U.S. Senate Resolution 513 was passed to recognize the impact that the collector car hobby has on American culture, and July 9, 2010, marked the very first Collector Car Appreciation Day. In the years since, the proclamation has grown to an annual event, now celebrated in the United States, Canada and Australia. This years Collector Car Appreciation Day will take place Friday, July 12, as part of the Senates recognition of the fact that the collection and restoration of historic and classic cars is an important part of preserving the technological achievements and cultural heritage of the United States.

Check for a show in your area, DFW is at Kellers Drive in tonight.
