$1200 and will deliver to Carlisle in July with down payment. PM me or jameyfd@yahoo.com

I bid on your grille , and I have restored 3 of them(and will soon have one for sale) and the one you have here is going to require a large amount of time to restore it,

I wouldn't pay more than $500.00 for it,so if you can get more than that take it ,

but I will  give you $500.00 ,knowing that it will take at least 40 hours or more to make it nice

,also the trim alone can cost any where from $350.00 to $500.00,so take that in to consideration ,

I know people are asking $2500.00 for these grilles but those are complete and dont need a resto,

Just my :2cents:

I too followed the ebay auction and thought the buy it now price was to high.  There's a LOT of work needed to save that grille and with the new repops coming out are all done and ready to install at the same price you're asking for parts.  It might be hard to get anywhere near $1,000.  I would think $500 to $600 is real fair.  Just my two cents.  Either way, good luck with the sale.

Jeeze guys, can you blame a guy for trying.  I was actually more curious to see what would happen on ebay and use it more of an idea of what the value is on a grille like this.  I know that Metro is making new grilles and the value of ones like this won't be worth much when the new ones are out.  I have had offers of $800 and the bidding went to $510 I think, so you guys are pretty close in your estimates.  Thanks for your opinions Jamey

Who is this Metro that is making repops?

and yea I dont blame you for trying,I am just giving you a perspective on what needs to be done to your grille no slam intended just my opinion,

and if repops come out ( WE HAVE BEEN HEARING THIS FOR YEARS)then our stuff just is not worth that much , however if they dont repop these grilles, than the old stuff will be gold for a along time

That should answer your question.

I spoke to them yesterday and was put on the waiting list.  They are trying to have some ready for Carlisle in July, and hopefully they will have one there with my name on it.

I sold the grilles listed here for sale at the top of the post that turned into an infomercial for Metro.
