We went Broadcast Sheet Hunting. Found it in the springs behind the back seat in great condition, not even a nibble. Stored in the trunk we found spare parts that Charlie (hubby) has been collecting over the years, it really brought back how much fun and frustration we have had with the car. Always had carb trouble and alternator was bad right off. And radio didn't work when we drove it off the lot. So much for Dealer Prep. Because of the carb trouble Charlie had put in a dual feed Holley and even a 2 barrell. Because we have these various carbs hanging around does anyone know what brand would have come on the original car? There's a Holley on it right now and we think it's the original. We also hit pay dirt and found ALL the Registrations in the console. I took these pics today and when we take it out of the garage I'll do more. The best is the "Enemy Is Listening" which is hard to see on the trunk lid, but still holds true 37 years later. ;)

Will try to change the starter on the Sublime RT/SE, had to call it a day yesterday since i couldent get out behind the headers. And unbolting the headers and rise the 440 a bit from the mounts dident help jack. The stearingcolum is going throu the headers so i cant remove them :banghead: So either lose the trannysupport and and take the driveshaft off and lift the engine up :pullinghair: or take the stearingcolum off and other stuff mounting on the innerfenders :walkaway:

Have the mini starter on my small block. The starter falls right out, even with the headers. :woohoo:

It all depends on your headers as to whether the mini-starter can be removed without hassle or not. It might vary between big blocks and small blocks too.   :dunno:

Found out about mine by accident really. When I installed the motor I bolted the header up and then remembered the starter wasn't in yet.  :naughty:

If the weather holds out, I'm taking my Cuda over to the car show at the Autobahn Country Club track in Joliet. They are having a historic race there this weekend (3.5 mile road course) and are having a car show on Friday evening.
