Some of you guys know me from over at Mo-farts. Can we say that here? Mo-farts? Are the mods here "anal"? Ha, kidding. For those of you that don't know me, now you do. I am a nice guy, just don't ask the folks from Mo-farts! Naw, kidding. I heart Moparts.

I may not be a good member very long... I have been toying with the idea of going "B body".... but after taking the Cuda for a spin this afternoon as the sun set, I began to question my sanity.

Here is a pic of my pride & joy...

Welcome to the site, Torred4speed.  Your car is very nice and I see no reason to switch to a B-body one bit!!!  As for your remarks, we (the higher council) have decided to vote you off the board isle.....haha J/K man.  I hope you enjoy your stay here and find some of your friends who we've already converted from Moparts to C-C.com. =)

Yeah.. I can't quit Moparts cold turkey... I am on a little half arsed break from there (vountary) right now cuz I just got a little sick of a few guys attitudes that are ruining it for a lot of real nice, helpful guys. I have to admit though that I have posted a few times in the last few days. Oh well.

Yeah, I dunno. I am torn about the swap to a B body. I guess it is the instinct in me that wants to climb the car ladder. My car is perfect for what it is... a clone... in fact it is better than most real ones I see, but I would like to get into a real 4 speed A12... But at heart, I know that I'd give an A12 up for a black shaker '71 Cuda (clone or not)... so you see... I am really an E body guy at heart and I shouldn't be fighting it. Plus my wife is pissed cuz the Cuda is her dream car... she couldn't care less about what the VIN letter states it should be.

As for the comment about the MODS . . . . If I'd had feelings . . . they'd been HURT!

Sorry, pics are big. I know, I know... I forgot to put the hood pin lanyards back on for the pics. The black paint was fresh and I had just gotten home from a drive (didn't want to scuff the paint) and I forgot they were off before I started taking snapshots.

Thanks for the welcome. I would be honored to own the car that is on your desktop! Someone's F6 A12 Bee is on my desktop right now... before that it was someone's TX9 AAR. Ahhhh... maybe what I'll do is wait a while and just buy a solid body 383 project Bee and start tinkering with it (A12 clone). I think the thrill is building the car, not just being able to say I own one. I think in reality once I traded for a B body and got it how I wanted it, I would want to trade again and I don't think that sort of short term hopping is healthy for me.

WOW!  That's a beautiful car!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

Phil in New England-Massachusetts  Always thank God for what you have!

Actually it's a '73. I hated the large bumper guards and removed them as soon as I got the car in 1982. It's original drivetrain still resides in the car but I'm thinking to change that soon!!

PS: I shrunk a couple of those pics out of respect of our dial-up members.

Welcome to the board Torred4Speed!   Your car is gorgeous...give it to your wife and keep it in the family and buy your b-body.  Absolutely beautiful.

Glad to have you on board.
