So, I did not provide all the information. I have had a Holly Intake Manifold on this motor, which is taller than the OEM intake. That being said, when the transmission was worked on initially, everything was working.
After the trans work- and subsequently after my mechanic decided to "change out" the top kick-down bracket, I began to have issues. Unfortunately since I began having issues (and did not have the time to address this while the car was in my garage idle), the mechanic "lost" the original bracket I had on the motor.
So, I am faced with two options-
A. Locate a kick-down bracket that is tall enough and has the right angle to enable the linkage to work properly OR-
B. Purchase the cable conversion kit and have that installed and adjusted.
What are your thoughts on this?
