Hey y'all!
I just purchased a '72 Challenger--going to pick it up Sunday 12/16/18!! This is my first ever classic car/restoration project, and I'm pretty excited about it. The car definitely is a long way from road ready, but I got it as a project for me and my dad to restore. He owns an auto shop and has been in the auto industry for 30+ years, but we've never done anything like this together before. Unfortunately I had more of an aversion to learning to mechanic when I was younger, but I'm very ready to build a car and make a bucket list memory with my dad.
Just to give you an idea, here's a picture of the car from when I went to check it out in person. The shed it is in was tight on space, so I'll be happy to post more pictures of the car once we've towed it home.
Looking forward to diving into this car, and exploring the forums here!
