73 'Cuda Fuel Line Diagram
« on: December 29, 2017 - 08:11:14 pm »
Does anyone have images/diagrams of how to route the fuel lines for a 73 'Cuda?  I bought new ones from Inline Tube but the old lines were pulled out a long time ago so I have nothing to go off of.  I looked at several posts on here but they either don't show what I'm looking for or the images have been removed by photobucket.

I also tried these links with no luck:

Sorry for the late response but no, you're the only one.  If you happen to put it back up on the lift, snag a couple of pix for me please.  I'm baffled that no one has a diagram of this.

No pictures but I too used the in-line pre-bent lines - Once you unbend them from the packing.  once you get the lines through the wheel well then tend to fall into place.  I can get pictures for you but here are a couple points:

- there should be three lines correct?  One long and two smaller 1/4 inch lines (venting)
- both lines run the passenger side of the car along the outside of the frame rail.
- the main line comes off the rubber hose that connects to the tank and crosses the car along the shock shock cross-member between the cross member and the tank (need push in clips).
- there is a four hose vent separator that mounts in front of the tank
- there is a 1/4 inch vent line that comes off that vent collector
- the lines cross over the passenger frame together and travel down the frame in the wheel well (a screw in clip and spring clip) .
- The lines then cross back over the frame (there should be spring wrap at this point) to travel along the floor (push in clips at the seat plates).
- each line passes through the torsion bar cross member through separate holes.
- the main line terminates and converts to a rubber hose that connects to the fuel pump
- the vent line connects with an intermediate hose and then the short line goes up to the vapor canister
