Notchead line clamps and polishing holder
« on: March 21, 2017 - 09:32:27 pm »
Noticed these things for the first time in the latest Summit catalog that Mr. Postman brought me.  Pretty cool.   I've had a few bolts launch on me while cleaning them on a wire wheel, so the grip tool is a great idea.   The line clamps look like a better option over zip ties and some of the other line clips that are available.   Aside from Summit, these are available through Amazon too.

When I had our AAR repainted 2006 I did all of the hardware, bolts and nuts on a polishing wheel.
Doing the the bolts I used a nut or two to lock them on each bolt and  grips to hold and buff them.
Never lost a bolt.........

When I need to polish a small bolt, I just put it in my drill.  I can even spin the drill in the opposite direction while polishing.
