Al,

I hope you can sit down with your family and discuss your health. Nothing to be embarrassed about, nor ashamed.
Everyone of us goes through tough times, and we all have to make adjustments.
I'm glad the tumor is benign. That in itself makes you a lucky man.
There are plenty of doctors out there that are talented and capable enough to remove the tumor and get you healed up.
Hope to hear positive updates from you soon.
Until then, rest, and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dan

I got out of the Er Friday night/Sat morn. Thanks Dan and EVERYONE else.  Tomorrow going for 3 tests and an electric monitor for 3 days.  I talked to all my kids, they live 450 miles away. After Feb 4 Im going down for a couple weeks once my checks kick in.  MAYBE   if they get these blood clots worked out.   Does a plasma cutter work on flesh?  haha.  Gotta headache right now, just signed on for a bit. I actually went outside for 30 minutes today.  Thanks ...alan BFN

Sorry if there's a thread somewhere else I can't find - has anyone heard from Al?  I know a few people know where he lives - has anyone tried stopping by?

He hasn't been active since March.

Sorry for reviving an old thread.

Got a text from him yesterday..He's down in Louisiana visiting his children.  Can't say he's doing great but didn't complain either.
He ask if I was coming to Carlisle so I suppose he's looking for a ride. I won't be making it this year.

Permently dissaled, been depressed for quite a while and trying to bounce back.  Everyday, i'm in and out of a wheel chair. Trying to get used to being handicapped. Hard for me as most know on here. I am doing better .   Hope everyone is doing ok. After 5 long months, I can say in 2 more days, I am getting drivers license back. Siezure free . I will not have to beg for rides or have my wings clipped.  My spine is about gone tho.  I will admit. I was embarrased to come here. Not being myself and feeling helpless.     Sorry.......ALAN

Al,

This is the LAST place you should feel embarrassed. This should be your escape from the difficulties day to day.  I pray for you to power through all these obstacles/pain. You have many people on here in your corner! :dogpile:

Good morning Al...  It is great to hear from you my friend.     No need for you to be embarrassed to come here. I do it all the time and I have a lowly "A" body....    :smilielol:    These folks here are the best. We are your friends and friends help friends.  You know if you need anything, all you have to do is ask. As much as you have done for the folks here, I feel certain that you will not want for anything if these folks can help you out...   :2thumbs:
