Great find, great pictues, great story, great girls. Don't you know  it's unfair to use girls to attract viewers to your post!  However,
forget the cars and post more of the girls!  PK

My feelings exactly. :banghead:

Here's a shot of the other challenger, decided to take it out for a spin a couple days ago.

When I was taking the picture I was thinking "man, this thing is going to need a lot of work...".
Right then a lady in a truck pulled up and said to me "you've got great potential there, don't give up on it".
I took it as a sign haha.

Hey guys, got a questions for you.
Ive got a lead on an RT/SE sunroof top in solid condition. The guy says its worth 3,000 but he'll sell it to me for 1500. There's no build sheet or fender tag for the "convertible" so there's no way to tell if it had a sunroof but I do know it's an RT/SE. A sunroof car would be pretty cool out here in California and the price seems reasonable considering its the only thing stopping it from being on the road more often (safety/body twisting concern). Thoughts?

Come to think of it, was a sunroof even available on RT/SEs? I remember someone telling my there was an overhead console in the SEs.
Also, I have not seen this piece in person yet, just heard about it.

Sunroof not available on the Challenger SE models.

Personally though, I would leave a 'movie' car as is.

What a killer find. As it turns out, I am right down the road from you in Fillmore.

You know....the original 71 Cuda from the Phantasm movies is still somewhere in our area just waiting to be found. Last seen in Simi Valley a few years ago with a for sale sign on it.

Imagine how cool it would be to have two movie cars.
