Amanda. I got your email.  Do you think you could start making your pictures bigger. Everything you send with pictures in posts or email is just too small to see anything. Even the car forsale add pictures are way too small. I did email you back though and I am interested, but cant see anything in a 3 inch square.   thanks

We are now experiencing a wave of aftermarket vendors, after almost 40 years, trying to cash in on the baby boomers restoring their cars and dreams from long ago.

Lets fast forward for a minute (shall we) to 40 years from now. What is going to happen when all of the junkyard E bodies are all gone? These aftermarket vendors will get the hell out of Dodge. You watch. No pun intended.

We should be thankful for anyone willing to help in this restoration process with offering real Mopar parts and cars for sale.

Before being so quick to bash these folks, remember this. These are the people that have worked sooooo hard to find (the person didn't want to sell their car or parts after driving two hunderd miles or bought the parts and the truck broke down, etc) the part that you need to keep your car on the road.

I see nothing wrong with having vendors on the site. Some people read cc.c for years before even becoming a member. And as said many times over, you can skip right past any post you dont want to read. To some G&D prices are very high, but remember, they also sell some very tuff parts to find and have loads of 6pk and hemi parts. These parts are always out of reach to a lot of people. But they are there for the ones lucky enough to need that special numbers part. Also , some vendors havent realized yet that prices are falling like a rock in some areas and havent adjusted to the prices yet.
Try not to judge Amanda and others just for selling parts. A new vendor joined today. Did you notice that? Sells for mopar performance. I am not planning on acting child like and silly and trying to make him uncomfortable. I ask everyone else to do the same as well.  This is not a gossip column were having here. It is a G/PG rated site and the members that are here and that stay here over the months and years become all as one and should be treated at the same level of respect as you expect of yourselves.

There has been an increase of vendor activity here and sooner or later they will have a place to advertise what they have and the regulars will have there swap meet parts section.

Also, if you watch what Amanda and some others are posting, you can tell they are ancious to be accepted as a regular like us here and just wanting to fit in, plus be able to advertise the business side of there needs.  Everyone learns to crawl before they walk. We as a club ( CC.C) have to learn to be open minded and remember how it was when we all first joined.

I say if we think about our actions before responding, we will benefit the fruits of friendship amongst the members. If there's a need for a rant (open discussion) then make a post where everyone has a right to bring their side to the table and get it worked out in an adult way. Adding smirk comments in other posts happens on and off, but at times it can offend people that you dont really want to offend. Words typed are hard to interpet at times. We can all be critics both giving and recieving, but we should only try to post positive reactions even when being a critic.

I guess I'm just saying ...Every person has the same right to be here as the next and we should respect each others feelings. If you have a certain grudge that needs to be worked out. There is Email and Pm's to do this with.

I don't mind people joining just to sell parts. It benefits both sides. That's why I keep asking about a vendor section. When someone buys something from them, they should post their opinion of the part or service, how they were treated, value, quality, etc. We can see how the vendors resolve problems, and how far they are willing to go for our business. The vendors that treat us right will rise to the top, and the ones that are on the undesireable side, will get weeded out. We'll wind up with a list of vendors that treat us right, and hopefully give us a discount. And who knows, maybe we'll wind up with some new friends as well.
