  Thanks CRC!  The Corker was a typo...should be Coker.  I'll change that in the listing.  The other 3 I couldn't find anywhere on the web, so I'm deleting them.  Gotta keep our list updated!  Thanks again!

If anyone knows of other good companies that should be on the list let me know.

Thanks for straightening that out.  Here are a few more you may want to add to the list.  I've found them to be useful, they aren't on the beaten path (Summit, Year One, etc.) and I've bought from them all without any problem.

http://bouchillonperformance.com/ (http://bouchillonperformance.com/) for underhood accessories and engine parts
http://www.440source.com/ (http://www.440source.com/) for RB parts cheap
http://www.partsamerica.com/ (http://www.partsamerica.com/) for stock replacement parts. This is the internet arm of Advance Auto Parts.  I've been amazed at what they still have available for my 73 Challenger and for cheap!  I bought a Lares remanuf. steering box from them for $118 w/ core.  Year One wanted $298 for the same exact part.  Worth checking into and if you have an Advance in town, order it through the store and they'll ship it to the store for free.

Here's one you might not know of.

This guy has been around for years. Tons of body, frame, motors, parts and more parts. Goto the online cat and then on the tool bar find your way to the Restoration Parts.

Due to numerous complaints here, I don't think they will be added to the list. Great parts, not so great service.

Jim,

Like you, I have made purchases from them a few years back... probably to the tune of a few thousand $$$, at least.  :grinyes: I knew about them before I knew about Year One, if you can believe that. It just seems that recently there have been many upset people that have bought, or tried to buy from them. They might not have something in stock, but they will give you no indication of that. You just wait, and wait. I have heard they don't respond to E-Mails too.

I bought $$$ from Jim's in the late 80's.  Good parts, great price, typical industry service.  Last year, I started rebuilding again and gave Jim's a shot. Rarely answered the phone.  Website was a joke.  Pricing in the catalog I had just gotten was wrong, website listed it at 50% more and calling to confirm found that it was about 50% more than even the website. (Pricing was way off on numerous items) Found the emblems at Year One (usually the highest priced) for about 30% less.  I told Jim's of the descrepancies but they didn't give a rat's A$$, the price was what it was and they acted as if they could care less whether I bought from them again or not.

They had a lot of my business back in the day, but never again. :villagers:

Wow, that blows. I used to live a few hours away from them when I lived in MA. So I drove up there and I too knew about Jim's well before YearOne as well, I just figured I support the local guy. He did seem like he was just in it for the money, too bad, customer service is key to getting people to come back.

YearOne is another that seems like they charge a little more BUT I have never had anyone rude on the phone with me. Guess what, when they didnt have any fenders for a 72-74 barracuda they gave me a number to someone that did. Thats what I call helping a customer out.

I had a headliner on my christmas list & gave Jims as the source. Price was good product ok but they charged over half again for "shipping & handling" $59. part $39.S&H. There is no where on their order form for this charge, they just add it. Numerous attempts to contact them via email with NO reply

I'm not sure if he's referring to the same place I purchased a windshield from or not, but the service I received was excellent. I ordered glass through ProSource Glass International and was able to pick it up locally (Atlanta) the next day.   They apparantly have several distributors.  That saved me the shipping charges, which at $110 was more than the $103 cost for the glass.

Here's the contact info for them.

This is not a parts supplier but I was looking through a catalogue (500+pages) & was impressed with the selection & price of metal working & especially polishing supplies & equipment. Co-worker buys frequently from them. Their shipping rates are not bad after you spend a few bucks. The web site is hard to navigate so I suggest sending for the free catalogue. Think I just might build me a guitar.

Awesome Bullitt!! That is outstanding  Just in case anyone needs help getting the list into their favourites, here's what I did... opened "WORD" and cut and pasted the list to the new WORD document, saved it as a web page onto the computer then closed it. Next I opened the page from the folder I had just saved it into (it now opens as a web page) then added it to my favourites.
Cheers

Does anyone have Paddocks email address? You'd think for increased sale chances they list the bloody bastard thing on their website, but no. >:( I'm trying to order some parts and need to email them the list as doing it over the phone will take time and with my accent, they're bound to stuff up a few part numbers.

Thanks.

I took Bullitt's list and converted it to an Excel spreadsheet and saved it. I found it a lot easier to find the thing I'm looking for with it broke down into categories. I've added a few sites to it since he posted it. Thanks Bullitt

One more for you...

www.seatbeltpros.com

Vintage-looking seatbelts at prices lower than XV.  I recently got my set which I'll be installing shortly (I'll post pics).  Special Orders take 4 weeks to ship, but I can't complain about the quality or prices!

Guys,

Dare I say, "Great Lists".

I have heard there is a reputable internet company that sells Mopar Exterior & Interior Parts at roughly 50% of retail.  Any chance you guys have experience with such a company (possibly included in one of the lists above)?  Another way of saying I want the best quality at the best price!

Thanks, Charlie

Any opinions on what Classic Industries are like for parts? Being in Australia I've relied on google etc to search for parts, have ordered a couple of things from them and have found they don't quite fit like the originals.

Basically, a west coast version of Year One.   :2cents:

They're reliable. On big orders, they even follow up.

But just like any other of the bigger vendors; some stuff is marked higher and some stuff they sell is competitive. Do your homework if you smell the price is outta line. Overall,  I would recommend them based on a recent orders I did with them.

You can check out my catalog as well. It's 34 pages of Mopar. And yes, I work with customers to ship internationally as well.

Auveco has just about anything you need as far as attaching hardware, wire ends etc. I couldn't see a way to attach the catalog itself. Go to the website and download the catalog  https://auveco.com/default.aspx

Its really cool,, has about anything you can imagine. site, salvage yards, performance, body, trim, engine, rubber, suspension, literature ,etc, etc, someone gave it to me, but looks as if anyone can order them,, thepublisher is The Garden of Speedin' Inc San diego,   www.gardenofspeedin.com (http://www.gardenofspeedin.com)   check it out  i think its a very handy book.   :wow:
