    Melling M63HV oil pump identification

    Stamped on Melling oil pump is M63
    If it is the HV version would it not be M63HV?

    I don't know which one the M63 is, but for a small block, the stock pump is a M72 and the high volume one is M72HV and it's cast into the pump housing over the pick up tube intake port. Hope that helps.  :cheers:

    Here's a stock replacement from waaaaaaaaaaay back. There was a "long rotor" kit available..…..
