    Hi!  How you doing?  My name is Phil.  I'm from Boston, MA area.  I'm glad to find this site!  It's great to see all these Cudas and Challengers!  I bought my '72 Challenger Rallye back in Nov. 2003.  I have 3 little kids (ages 2, 4, and 6) so I don't get much time to work on it.  It's mostly original.  I'm the 3rd owner.  The second owner bought it back in 2001 and just let it sit around a barn in New Hampshire because he raced Mustangs.  I met the original owner.  He bought the car 8/31/1971 4 days after getting out of the Army.  He really loved this car but sold it as he thought he "blew the engine".  Turns out the neck for the radiator fell off so I soldered it back on and it "seems" OK.  I don't really know as I still haven't registered the car yet so it's off the road.  I'm trying to fix it up before it needs to be appraised for the insurance.  The original owner kept some of the original paperwork, ie the invoices from the dealer, manuals, etc...  The engines never been apart, numbers matching 340ci with a 727 and Slap Stick.  Still in the original color, Super Blue, but painted a couple times.  Going to make it a driver and want to keep it stock looking (I know, it has the driving lights and trailer hitch from the first owner, but I might need them one day!) so won't be plunking down much money.  It has the Magnum 500s from a '70 Road Runner but I have the original steel wheels and hub caps.  More info @ http://www.cardomain.com/ride/456046

    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

    Wow Phil!!  Great car!!!  Yeah that trailer hitch does look alittle funny!!  Welcome to CC.COM!!  Great place here are all!!  You will find alot of great people and useful info on the site!!  Hope you enjoy!!   :dogpile:

    Thanks!  And wow!  Fast reply!  Your cars look great, too!  The original owner used to tow around a little trailer with snow mobiles.  Might need it one day, but I think I'll end up taking it off.  Your cuda looks sort of like the one in the movie Phantasm.  May have been a '71, not sure.  Any how, nice cars!
