The only commercially available transmission crossmember that I know of is made by a fellow named Rory Fontana of Fontana Motorsports. Look him up on Facebook or google it. AFAIK, his crossmember costs around $250.
You can make your own crossmember too, but you'd better know how to weld. That's the route I chose when I did my A-518 swap. PM me if you decide you want to do it that way.
There are others that have done the swap and hopefully they'll chime in.

I have a template that I used to build mine, but the CAD I got from the shop that cut it out with a waterjet, is corrupted I'm told.  I still have the flat stock it was cut from, so have the template, but would need to get it scanned and have the CAD recreated.

It works well though and is bolt together, no welding required.

I see I just replied to the wrong thread, but anyway, I haven't found the time to make this happen, but I'll make an effort to get it re-scanned and get some prices for the cutouts and let you all know.

Do you guys already have transmissions?  Would a complete bolt in kit be something your interested in?

Hi Chris,

Just curious: how do you bend the metal into shape? Do you need a large metal brake?

A vice and a hammer.  A map gas torch can help to.

If you have a harbor Freight Tools press this can be an option. It maybe a bit of work to fab for a couple of bends. Interested in this swap also.

Wonder what the channel width is?
