Challenger Headlight Questions!
« on: October 19, 2017 - 10:59:30 pm »
I have a 73 Challenger. Is it possible to make my Challenger use 2 hi/lo headlights (not 4)  like a Cuda or Barracuda? I can modify the area behind the other 2 headlights to be fresh air intakes, like the new Dodge Demon. Your thoughts on the modifcations.

In 1964, Ford Motor built 100 Fairlane Thunderbolts 427's to race in NHRA. The quad headlight's inboard lights were modified to be ram air intakes. Pic says 68 but it is a 64 Thunderbolt.

Don't your outboard headlights already have high/low beam function? The inner head lights should only come on with high beams. :clueless:

Like 73440 said, the outer headlight has both high and low capability with the inner one only coming on when the lights are switched to high, so you can pull the inner ones, but it'll make things more interesting if you drive the car at night. That's why the Cuda lights are 7" and the Challenger ones 5".
