**Jump Box ...What Do You Recomend?***
« on: December 09, 2016 - 10:01:52 am »
I'm looking for a small jump box to put in my Mom's Benz. Several times she has been stranded and had to wait for roadside service to start the car.(dealer says there's nothing wrong, battery low for other reasons)
I tried to jump it off recently using my car but had no luck. The tow truck had a jump box that did the trick, he told her there was not enough power available from my car.

I was looking at this as a possibility https://www.amazon.com/Basstop-16800mAh-Starter-Battery-Portable/dp/B01GKTFN8S?tag=jumpstarterlabs-20

Any feedback on Amp ratings or a particular product you have had success with.....  :feedback:

That looks similar to the one I have, an Anti gravity xp-10

https://www.amazon.com/Antigravity-Batteries-AG-XP-10-Multi-Function-Starter/dp/B00MQ5Z5F2/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1481292748&sr=1-1&keywords=antigravity+xp-10

It works great and stared my 10:1 340 with the battery removed.  They can be had for around 129.99 by shopping around.

I use one like that to start one of my cars every couple of weeks if needed.
They are sold at Walmart real cheap, my brother rides his Harley all year in NYC and he uses it in the cold mornings.
They are small and work well.
Not sure of the brand I have but it was bought at Walmart ,think less than $40.
Well worth it.

This ones not small but its cheap and they work well.  They start any v8 v6 v4. Ive thrown at  it .  Ive used it as my power source for my trailer winch as well ..

Again its not that small , but reliable .. :2cents:
