I took a big chance today
« on: July 09, 2011 - 12:55:30 AM »
After spending what spare time i had over the past few months working on my Challenger I made the decision to drive it to carlisle. New engine, new Keisler 5 speed and all the crap that goes along with it. Welll it was down to the wire and more than once I said forget it, its not gonna happen. But here I sit in carlisle with my trusty Dodge outside!  My friend Jon and I spent the last couple days tuning the new engine, welding in the floor tunnel and hastily throwing in the carpet.  I literally bought and threw on 2 new tires right before I left. I made the 300+ mile trip with the engine and tranny only having about 25 miles since the rebuild. So if you see the FrankenChallenger at the show tomorrow remember: she ain't pretty, but she got me here. Now I just hope shell get me home!

I have seen the one picture posted of your car.

I must say that the 72 looks really good as a vert'.

Cool look, the yellow really pops on it.

Did you make it all the way home with no problems??
