Putting on more parts.
« on: February 05, 2010 - 08:30:47 pm »
The weather here in Idaho has'nt been to bad so I have been getting in a bit of garage time trying to get things put back together. Nothing like I have just seen on the news (and read) what you folks back east are in for.  It was about 53* here so i pushed the car outside so I could paint the dash frame and some other little parts.  It's still a little early to get spring fever but I hope to take advantage of things by putting a few pieces back on each day or so.  Figured I would just post a few pics of some progress for now.  I started at the back and I am moving forward.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Looking good.  :2thumbs:

On a side topic.

I noticed the body seams on the rear valence look really tight. It must be OEM?
I have the repro one and an OEM one. I'm just not satisfied with the fit on the repro.
Decided to re furbish the original one. Maybe it'll fit better

Looks real good.  You will have a nice car when you are done.  I'm going to help a freind today paint his Shadow convertable Plum Crazy today.  He said he just can't live with the raspberry anymore!
