If header tubes were perfectly parallel to each other, that might be possible.

And they probably aren't.

I was just describing the basic idea.  It's obviously going to be more complicated then that.

Ken recommends TTI and also sells the product.

I would start with a measurement from the header flange to the bottom of the pipe ,maybe the whole engine is sitting low causing the problem

Do what Chryco says and take some measurements.

You got a TKO?  I think that is what I spy in your pics.
What is your engine/trans angle? I've got a TKO, BB,  and have 5 degrees down - my Dougs headers looks like yours. I plan to raise up the transmission like 73_Cuda_4_Me mentions. Shooting for 3 degrees - about 1" in spacers.  Raising the trans with a jack just 1/2" tucks in the headers nicely,

No idea what the angle is but that is exactly what I am planning. I bought the car as is. I measure 1-1.5 inches of clearance between the trans and tunnel so I know there is room. I am also going to check the motor mounts to see if there is anything there. Because I recently had a 4-link installed I will have some room to adjust there too. If I can pick up another 1-2 inches I will be very happy. I will keep you posted and remember to send you the angle when done.

You won't get much from the mounts. Biggest gain will be  from the trans mount.

May not matter because I am seriously thinking about swapping the motor for a 6.4 392 Gen 3. Then I will be back to the drawing board with mounts and pinion angle but should get more clearance with small block headers anyway, I think. If I do make this switch I will be putting my Mopar Performance 440/6 pack up for sale. Motor will be turn key w the Doug's headers and March belt drive system. Will keep you all posted.

Small Block?  What about a set of '92 to '02 Dodge Dakota headers?  They have a swept back design that keeps things high.

A plausible alternative is side pipes.

Still need to being the end of the TKO trans up otherwise the drive line angles would be set up for binding and vibrations.
