New M&H harness hard to connect at the firewall.
« on: July 22, 2017 - 11:41:37 AM »
I bought all new wire harnesses for my 70 Challenger.  It is very hard to push the engine and forward lighting connectors into the firewall block.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Ok, I figured it out. The female connectors were just very tight.  I took an extra male terminal and forced it in and out of the female connectors in the body connector with a little dielectric grease. Go ahead, let the comments begin ...

So your saying the virgin female connectors were tighter than your use to and a little lube made getting it in all the way easier.....

My thoughts are that dielectric grease might cause an allergic reaction, rash or other type of inflammation.  :dunno:
