A518 Automatic Overdrive with B&M floor shifter

Has anyone done an automatic column to automatic floor conversion on an A518 Automatic Overdrive with a B&M floor shifter?

I know it works with all 1966 and later A727 and A904 so should work with a A518 that is supposedly an A727 with overdrive, also I think?

Basically any 727 selector linkages will line up for the A518 what you need is switches to engage the overdrive and lockup convertor as they were controlled by a computor. The biggest problem is getting the kick-down linkage right, it is adjustable.
However there are a few kits around that can be fitted to make the overdrive and lockup work automatically.
Check out the sticky thread about fitting a A518, it is very simple.

If it works with the 727, it will work with the 518.
Converted my floor shift 727 to a 518 with stock shifter, shift pattern is the same.
Bouchillon makes the best KD cable kit IMO.

Just in case I was not clear, I already have the A518 installed and working fine with the stock column shifter.
Just wanted to know if the B&M shifters would work when I changed the shifter to the floor from the column.
It seems that according to your answers it will directly or a least with very simple changes.
