Rallye Dash stuff
« on: October 01, 2011 - 04:03:50 PM »
Anyone know what rallye dash parts are going for? I looked on ebay to get a comparison on price/condition but I couldn't find comparable parts.

Three pieces: a pot metal backing piece, the  black piece (it has a small crack but you would have to be looking up from the carpet to see it),  and the wood grain aluminum fascia (not a sticker!) Has some scratches.

The black plastic piece has the two green and one red indicator lenses. It is also a little warped. I though about clamping it to a straight piece of wood and laying it out in the sun. As it is right now, it can be gently bent to be straight but it returns to the warp. I think clamping straight and a little heat will return the straightnes.

What do you guys think?

If it were me, I would just arrange to send it to Cody to repair it all.

I don't really even need it though. I don't want to fix it up to sell it. I just don't want to ask too much so people don't think I'm unrealistic.

Ebay it for $50?

U can get the complete e -body gauge bezel at www.pgclassics.com for 175.00.
I purchased a set and they are great. The  gauges are available . The white tubes for the gauge indicators are repo also.
Just search the YEARONE Jack's, Laysons. As for the warp the light bar when installed for the instrument should correct the warp.

Do not put any heat to it. It will warp more...
