WIW - triple black 70 Challenger sunroof project car.
« on: May 18, 2011 - 09:14:10 PM »
Hey guys,

I have a non-computer savy friend who wants to sell his car. He doesn't know what fair market price is, and I'm not sure either. Thought I'd throw it up here and see what you guys think.

Here's the specs:

fender tag reads as follows.

P31 R22 V5X Y05 26 EN1
M25 M31 M91 M85 N88
C55 C62 G33 H51 L31 M21
V1X A01 A62 A63 B51 C16
TX9 H5X9 000 122 K00188
E44 D31 JH23 GOB 241357

No dash pad so the vin tag is long gone!
Does have the fender tag and title.

Parts to go with the car:
heater air box, rear defrost and harness are in place. Rear deluxe seat belts and passenger side belts in place. Steering column with rim blow wheel., Cruise control module is in the trunk. The rear seats I have, they are hounds tooth. I also have nos seal for sun roof. I also have the inner door panel for the sun roof. All window motors were ran last year and worked well. The gear in sun roof motor is stripped. Motor runs. I have a good filler tube. The rear end is the 7 1/4, but I have a 8 3/4 that goes with it.The chrome for the front & rear hood is here. I do have a buildable 318 and trans.

So, what do you think it's worth?
Wanted 1969 Charger NOS parts. Whatcha got?

I would be interested in the car.  Could you PM me your email or phone number.  Do you have more photos?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Wow guys, I'm surprised at all the pm's and emails I've gotten on this car. People are really interested in it, and I thought he'd have a hard time selling it.

GG's book says 114 Challenger sunroof cars and 82 R/T's. Guess it is kinda rare, don't know what that translates to value wise.

This is my friends car, and I'm was just trying to help him place an accurate market value on it.  If you're interested in maybe buying it, please contact him directly. His name is Butch 865-603-8055.

Just an fyi, he's a nice guy, but is short tempered if he thinks he's being jerked around. :0)
