How can you tell if it is the quick ratio?   Is mine?

I will post some pics when I get home from work, but a quick ratio T/A box only came on Challenger T/A's and AAR cudas.

Actually, that is incorrect.   They were available on later built 71 340 only E bodies.   They have a big TA cast into them, and the arm has fast ratio cast into it.   They didn't just use left over pieces for the 71s either, as the one in my 71 Cuda has a date code of 2230

Do you know the option code for the 71 340 e-body T/A box?

It is either S74 or S77.   Memory is failing me.   One is PS, the other is for the fast ratio.   The one you have also has a build date after the T/A cars were shipped, it is the same box, but that one would have came off of a 71 340 E body.   They never offered it with a big block due to the weight.

Saw one sell on e bay a few months ago sell for around $800-900.
I remember that because I didn't think it would get that high.
