got any more of that blue cuda?
-
My friend lost this one to a fire earlier this year. If you have a mechanical oil pressure gauge, make sure the plastic line stays in the back of the gauge.
It was really nice, had 14 grand in it, insurance paid him 28 grand, then it went on ebay for 3 grand but not by him.

Do many people say: "Hey, Nash Bridges car!?" :eek7: or do they not know of it? It wasn't the "biggest" show in the world but most, if not all Mopar guys will know that Cuda, I'm just curious about the "Joe" public.

I have surprised how many people know about the car. I took a piece of trim in for polishing and the guy asked what car it was for, and when I told him he hinted he wanted to see it . The next day he called and said the part was finished and could he deliver it that evening. No charge, if his girlfriend could take some pics. And he is a bike guy. His girlfriend said she loved the show and had to see the car.
-
Cool! I'd deliver parts too if I could see your car.

Is that an original? Cause that car is sick.
-
You can't beat a Black Cuda! :wow:
-
Here's some.
-
This White 71 Challenger R/T sat in a carport in my area for years. I was able to rescue it and then went through a divorce. I sold the car to ChallengerGary who restored it as you see it now. It is a 340 R/T. I don't know where this race car is now.
-
In 1980 I bought my Challenger convertible. At the same time my Uncle who raced was doing some work at Indy. He got this photo for me. I have never seen it anywhere else. HotRod recently had a Mopar photo issue. They had 1 picture of the pace car and said it was the only color picture they had seen. I do not know if this is the car that was wrecked. I believe it is a parade car. It is in color, so maybe there are 2 color photos from the race.
-
There was an article in MCG last month. All of the original Pace cars are in a private collection in Indiana. My sis-in-law is good friends with the owner and she says he has about 75-100 cars, mostly Mopars. From the pics she showed me I counted at least 14 Hemi Cudas. Wish I had that kind of money...
-
Maybe you could post some of those pics. :droolingbounce:
-
-
All of those cars look priceless. I do not have as much money in mine as most of you, but I had to post it.

McCandless built 18-spline 4-speed,Stock Dana 3.54(new internals Timken m.p. clutch pak. I "scienced " out the suspension with black graphite/poly bushings front/rear sway bars from FIRM FEEL. 20:1 Firm feel manual box 1.09 T-Bars Stock front discs rear drums. TTI 1 7/8 ceramic thermal coated 2 1/2 complete TTI system. The car is pretty quiet for headers tti is awesome, wish they made stuff for Dodge trucks!

Don't forget SLEEPYHEAD416
-

-
I like the stripe Sleepyhead. Post a pic without the cover. My Ex bought those same sheets. I used them in the garage also. LOL.
-
Had my convertible out today for a test drive after working to fix a leak. Couldn't resist taking some pictures!

WOW!! If mine looks half that good when the shop is done, i'll be a mumbling fool
Just subtract the hood pins (for now), add a passenger side chrome mirror, 440 MAGNUM engine callouts instead of 440 SIX PACK, and a black vinyl top instead of white.

-
neat color combo...........
-
My Baby, restored it and sold it................STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'm partial to the AAR's, the one with the row of AAR and T/A tails is one of my favorites from Spring Fling 6 years ago.
-
That was an awesome sight but I'm always struck by how some people put the trunk down and some leave it open.
Whenever I see a car at a show with the hood and trunk open it reminds me of a car that broke down on the side of the road
-
:droolingbounce: That's a cooooool pic. i love the AAR :grinyes:
-
One of mine...since most all other pics have been wiped out lately.
-
Being Yellow isn't bad.................
-
sorry, my favorites are those of my own car.
-
this pic reminds me of the new Challenger...
makes me wonder if anyone has converted the lower to driving lights and the bright headlights to singnals,
then the low beams would have to be converted to low/high
yoyu could only do this on Challengers and 71 cudas
-
My fav of my dads and my ebody, and of just mine
-
ive never seen so many red x's in my life
-
Dude! That Gator Grain Gran Coupe (try saying that six times fast!) is freakin' rad! How did I miss that thing at the Spring Fling??
Here is my favorite E-body, (next to a red/black rtse)...
Have fun with this one, kids!

I think June should be Gran Coupe month, and with that here is an excellent example. This was taken at a Bay Area car show a few years back.

Whoa - what's that?
A custom body on a Challenger???
-
Yes it is. Pietro Frua rebodied this R/T SE in 1970. If you look at the door shut lines and compare them with the wheel wells, its apparent that he stretched the car. It still has its JS29N0B vin code, so it still IS technically a Challenger
-
WOW I was going to argue. My first thought was a Jensen Interceptor. :clueless: But not realy even close. That is wild, the interior shot of the car shows its Challenger roots. Very good looking car! here is a link to more pics.

It does defeat the purpose of having a picture thread on this site.

Things were quite different here in 2006-08. And I take the responsibility with my pics of putting them in an image hosting website so they will stay here as long as I have the account.
