2 ANSWERS for me:

In the early to mid 90s I went got into the 7s at around 165 to 170. Chevy though, does it count?

I also had a 72 Challenger with a '66 Hemi in it. I went some 10.0s with it a few times but mostly drove around town. Its "the one that got away", and is why I am building me another Mopar. I just love em. I will get some pics converted for both of the cars, they are all on 35mm. Wow, I am getting old..

Now for the big speed......In March of this year I entered the Texas 200mph club on my bike. I went 206mph and 204 mph on my 08 Hayabusa, naturally aspirated, in a standing mile from a dead stop. I hurt the motor before I could spray it. I wanted to take the record for the fastest NOS bike at 228mph, but it was bumped up to 235 last month and my wife said thats enough, so I sold it to fund the Cuda.

Went 130-135 in my '73 Challenger. There was more speed in it but the car was starting to feel unstable, kind of floating so I backed off. Ebodies have power and looks, but not aerodynamics.

125'ish twice, once in my 1980 LeBaron (318, 2.74's) and again in a 1989 Chevy Corsica with the 2.8 MFI.

Suprising power in that car... :dunno:

I disagree , with the alignment set properly they are stable at speed , I prefer manual steering though as the power is just too over powered

Man, I would love to go 200 MPH.  That sounds like a blast.

Don't worry, after you get a mopar you can always talk the wife into another rocket!

I felt the same thing around the same speed in my 71.  I figured it to be the bias ply tires. I wonder what it would of been like with a nice z-rated tire.
I beat the supra though.
